Personal finance gives you an unusual permission: people genuinely want to hear that a subscription went up, that a bill is larger than usual, that this month broke a record. Used well, lifecycle is the product. Used badly, it is the reason someone turns off notifications and forgets we exist.
You would own email, push and in-product messaging end to end — the strategy, the copy, the segmentation and the measurement.
What you would do
- Design and ship onboarding, activation, re-engagement and upgrade journeys.
- Write copy that sounds like a person who respects the reader's time.
- Build the segmentation and the tests; kill the sends that do not earn their place.
- Partner with product on which moments deserve a message at all.
What we look for
- 3+ years in lifecycle or CRM for a consumer product.
- You write well, and you can prove a send worked.
- Hands-on with a modern messaging stack and comfortable with data.
Nice to have, never required
- Experience with regulated or finance-adjacent messaging.
- You have run a notification strategy people did not mute.
If you are on the fence
Every list above describes the person we imagine, not a checklist we score. People who meet most of it and want the rest have done extremely well here. If the role reads like the job you want next, that is enough reason to write to us — tell us which part you would have to grow into and we will be straight with you about whether it works.
Send whatever shows your work best — a CV, a repository, a portfolio, or a few paragraphs. A hiring manager reads every one, and you will hear back within two business days.
