Switching from Rocket Money

Bring everything with you. Leave the rest behind.

Export your transactions from Rocket Money, drop the file here, and every account arrives already set up, with its history. Then connect your banks and never think about it again. The whole switch takes an afternoon, not a weekend.

Three steps

One file. Every account. About ten minutes.

  1. 1

    Export from Rocket Money

Open Transactions in Rocket Money and choose Export. One CSV lands in your downloads, and it holds every account — checking, cards, loans, the lot.

  2. 2

    Import it here

On Accounts, choose Add account → Import from Rocket Money and pick the file. We list the accounts it found, create the ones you don't have and bring every transaction over — the names you gave them, the categories and the notes included.

  3. 3

    Connect your banks

Link the same banks so new transactions arrive on their own. Your imported history stays put, and a month that arrives twice is filed once.

What comes over
  • Every account, filed under its bank with the last four digits
  • Every transaction: date, amount, the bank's own line and the name you gave it
  • The categories Rocket Money assigned, kept beside ours so nothing is lost in translation
  • Your notes, word for word
What stays behind, and why that is fine
  • Budgets
Rebuilt in one click from your usual spend, and they roll over.
  • Subscriptions
Found again from the history — with a cancel guide for each.
  • Bank logins
Reconnect the same banks here; they were never in the file.
  • Balances
An export has none. Set today's balance on any account and the ledger reconciles back.
Why people switch

The things Rocket Money’s own users keep asking for.

Budgets that roll over

What you didn't spend in March is still yours in April. Budget future months, fill every line from usual spend in one click.

Real books underneath

A double-entry ledger, so every balance ties out to the bank and every transfer is a transfer, not spending.

Share a ledger

A partner, a bookkeeper, a grown child — each with their own login and a role, on one set of books.

Cancel guides that name the steps

For each subscription we find, the way out: the page, the phone number, what to say. You keep the money.

Seven languages

English, Spanish, Chinese, Hindi, French, Portuguese and German — the app, the emails and the assistant.

An assistant that can act

Ask what you spent on coffee, or ask it to set a budget. Every change waits for your approval first.

Your history is yours. Take it with you.

Free during the private beta. Export, import, connect — and the first thing you see is every account you had, with its history, on real books.
