Share a ledger

One set of books for the two of you.

Invite your partner, an accountant or a grown child to a ledger, with a role that decides what they see and what they can change. Your personal ledger stays yours alone.

Three steps

Separate lives, joint books, no arguing over a spreadsheet.

  1. 1

    Make a ledger to share

A household ledger, a joint one for the two of you, a business one — each is its own set of books, with its own accounts, budgets, goals and rules.

  2. 2

Invite by email, choose a role

Owner, admin, editor or viewer. An editor files transactions and sets budgets; a viewer reads and changes nothing. Ownership can be handed over when it should be.

  3. 3

    Keep personal, personal

Your own ledger is separate and unshared. Inside a shared one, mark a transaction business or personal and look at either side alone.

What you get

Built for households, not just accounts.

Roles on every request

Owner, admin, editor, viewer — enforced by the server on every page and every action, not by a checkbox in the interface.

Everything in the ledger, shared

Budgets, goals, subscriptions, rules and the to-do list belong to the ledger, so everyone sees the same numbers.

Privacy mode

One keystroke blurs every number on screen — for the coffee shop, the screen share, the look over the shoulder.

Business and personal, apart

A card that is the business card, a dinner that was a client's: mark either, and view one side of the books alone.

The assistant, in the room

It works inside the ledger you are in, and every change it proposes waits for approval.

Part of Premium

Inviting members is a Premium feature. Everything else on this page is on every plan.

Questions people ask
Can my accountant see everything?
As a viewer, yes — every page, every number — and change none of it. Make them an editor when they should file things.
Can someone leave?
Any member can leave; an owner hands ownership over first. A ledger nobody is left in is cleaned up with everything in it.
Does my partner see my personal ledger?
No. Your personal ledger has no members but you. Only what you put in the shared one is shared.

Shared books, kept in order.

Free during the private beta; inviting members is part of Premium. Make the ledger, send the invite, and you are both looking at the same page.
