LumaLedger
Private beta · Now open

Every cent,
accounted for.

LumaLedger links your banks and builds a true double-entry ledger underneath — net worth, cash flow, and subscriptions that reconcile to the cent. Not estimates. Accounting.

Double-entry core · Real-time bank sync · Encrypted at rest

The engine

Most apps estimate.
LumaLedger balances.

Underneath the dashboard is the same machinery that runs real accounting: every transaction becomes a balanced journal entry in a double-entry ledger. If the numbers on screen don't sum, they don't ship.

Balanced by the database itself
Debits equal credits on every entry — enforced with constraints and deferred triggers, not good intentions.
Transfers matched, never double-counted
Card payments and account transfers pair up automatically, so moving money never looks like spending it.
An audit trail that holds up
Pending, posted, refunded, amended — every state change is kept, and your history reconciles against real statements.
The product

Everything your money does, in one place.

Real-time bank sync

Plaid-linked accounts stream in as they happen — webhooks, not overnight batches. Pending, posted, refunded: all reconciled.

Subscriptions, surfaced

Recurring charges detected straight from your history — cadence, next charge date, and what it all costs per month.

Categories that learn

Fix a merchant once and it stays fixed. Merchant memory, split transactions, and one-tap recategorizing keep the books clean.

Shared ledgers

Households and teams on one set of books, with owner-to-viewer roles. Your personal ledger stays yours alone.

Privacy mode

One keystroke blurs every number on screen. For coffee shops, screen shares, and looking over shoulders.

Fast everywhere

⌘K jumps to any account, page, or action. Dense, keyboard-first, and built to feel instant.

Security

Built like it holds your money. Because it does.

Credentials never touch us

Bank sign-in happens with Plaid — the same connection layer the biggest fintechs use. We receive scoped tokens, never your passwords, and those tokens are encrypted at rest.

The boring work, done

Signed webhooks, verified email flows, role-based access on every shared ledger, and a database that refuses unbalanced writes.

Yours to leave

Unlinking a bank revokes our access at the institution, not just in the app. Delete a ledger and everything in it goes too.

Start counting.

Free during the private beta. Your ledger takes about two minutes to open — and a lifetime to outgrow.
